Autism and Anxiety
Are you aware that anxiety is associated with Autism? Research shows that people with Autism are more anxious. Sometimes it relates to having to deal with other people, separation anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder. Some children become aggressive during this time and lash out at others when their is a change in their routine. One thing I know for sure is the daily stresses and anxiety go hand and hand and must be treated. To reduce anxiety for your child you can meditate, have one on one quiet time, prepare him or her for a minor routine change or adjustment. Make the transition or change positive and use your resources.
