Autism Fitness Day!
Autism in Long Beach along with the Sweat Shop Gym are hosting an Autism Fitness Day weekend event for families of children and siblings of Autism on Sunday, January 22, 2012.
The event will take place at The Sweat Shop Gym located at 3671 Industry Avenue, Lakewood, CA 90712, from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Activities include:
- Fitness Assessment
- Agility Drills
- Strength Conditioning
- Sports Specific Training
- Cardiovascular Endurance Training
- Bouncers (weather permitted — Light snacks and water provided)
- Booths from Autism in Long Beach and Autism Youth Sports League
Sweat Shop Gym staff members will be on-hand to guide, assist and educate.
There is a dress code when taking part in the fitness activities, so dress appropriately — athletic shoes, shorts, sweats and/or T-shirts. Come out and enjoy!
